The optional motor risers for the ALPHA 4 are convertible, so they can be used for free flying as well.

These risers have two hangpoints, about 10 cms apart. The higher ones are set up for motorised flight. (see picture)

The trimmers make it possible to get the best takeoff behaviour in light wind as well as compensate for the turning effect of the propeller.

Cruising speed can also be trimmed out at any time.

For free flight the trimmers can be led through the carabiners and secured out of the way.

The ALPHA 4 motor risers also have a traditional speed system, which provides for a useful speed increase.
