The IQ Compeo Plus is the new high-end Instrument from Brauniger Flight Electronics.

The IQ Compeo Plus is based on the previous IQ Compeo, but is now provided with complete new, future- oriented processor technology and various features of expandability, such as a slot for smart card and Bluetooth application.

Automatic or manual Start / Stop of flight recording.

Variable recording interval 2 to 60 sec. for up to 290 hrs. flight recording.

Permanent display of GPS and battery-status.

Two instrument versions available:

Hang glider pilots: Removable pitot tube and with additional inlet for wind vane / speed sensor;
Paraglider pilots: Only inlet for wind vane sensor.

• The recording ratio is adjustable according to flight mission between 2 and 60 sec., upon  arrival at Waypoint sector the ratio is automatically switched to 1 sec. and an acoustical as well as an optical signal is provided to the pilot. It is possible to record up to 290 hours flight time.
• For each flight are recorded: GPS-position, altitude (air pressure and GPS-value), TAS, speed over ground, time, marking for positions.
• Easy data transfer via USB interface to the PC.  IGC data are provided with digital signature, so that manipulations are identifiable.
• Several flight analysis programs are available to allow full analysis of IQ-COMPEO+ flight data.

Brauniger IQ Compeo Plus > Attention!

The COMPEO+ needs as other USB units a correct driver installation before connecting to a PC! At the moment Brauniger only support Microsoft-Windows drivers. They have implemented this USB-Profilic driver in FLYCHART up from version 4.52-21. So first please install FLYCHART from the CD you receive, or you can download it from the Brauniger website under "downloads" for free. To get full functionality of Flychart, the programme asks for a usercode. Please send Brauniger an e-mail with the S/N of your instrument and they will give you the correct usercode for free.
