Lightweight Recreational Pragliding Harness

A comfortable harness, made for pilots, who want to be easy and uncomplicated prepared for flights with a simple-made but very comfortable harness. Made out of top quality and light weight materials.

The back protection consists of an inflatable Airbag combined with a foam protector using ProComTec. The combination of both protector systems secures that the certification requirements are being achieved, even while launching (where the Cygnus Airbag is not inflated). This special kind of inflatable Airbag is also being certified WITHOUT the foam protector. So, if low weight and low pack size is much more important than maximum comfort for some flights, you can choose to remove the foam from the protector.

The Pure comes with free-sliding-shoulder-straps, which are facilitating ground handling and starting preparations.

Cygnus Airbag 

Cygnus = inflatable protector. While launching, the Cygnus protector is inflating within seconds by the airstream and keeps filled with air till landing. A valve makes sure that air stays inside the protector. The Cygnus protects against injuries of the back and pelvis in a hard crash. 

The Cygnus protector consists of 2 air chambers: seat chamber and back chamber. These 2 chambers are connected by several valves keep the air circulating between the chambers. While launching, the protector is being filled with air. The seat chamber is being inflated within less then one second. This prevents injuries of the pelvis, which can occur shortly after launching. In the next seconds, the back chamber is being inflated completely. 

DAS = Diagonal Active System 

Additional straps, running from the seatboard to the chest strap, which prevents strong tilting of the pilot. Flying by shifting the weight will not be restricted! 

STS = Safe-T-System 

“Falling-out-protection“. The special hardware from AustriAlpin/Finsterwalder with click buckles, prevents that the pilot falls out of the harness if he forgets to fastening the leg loops. 

SHL = Secure Handle Lock 

Safe fixation of the rescue handle to the harness. Inserting a part of the handle into 2 pockets of the harness, ensures that the handle cannot be released by chance. Moreover is looks even better, when the handle lies tight to the harness. 

ZLC = Zipped Line Cover 

The bridle for the rescue chute is covered under a separate sheet. This sheet is closed by a zipper (without slider), not with a Velcro. This does even look better and also the opening is more reliable. The slider is kept in a pocket. For closing the zipper after a rescue deployment, close the zipper with the slider and don’t forget to removing the slider! 

IRC = Integrated Rescue Container:  

container for rescue chute integrated in the harness. In PGH mostly used as bottom container under the seatboard. In HGH between back plate and body. 

ProComTec = Protect and Comfort Technology

The protector pocket is being sewed directly onto the back part of the harness. It prevents the protector from slipping while an impact. The protector strengthens simultaneously the back support. All these points enhance comfort and safety while saving material in the back part and thus weight. 

Cordura 

The heavy duty cloth Cordura® is being used in all our products. With our HG and PG harnesses the 250g/m² Cordura® of German weaving mill C.F.WEBER GmbH is being used. Weber is manufacturing Cordura® clothes in licence from DuPont!
